CurrentAndy runs SUMS, a production company working across film and TV specialising in new format and interactive shows, the type made possible by the birth of web-streamed TV, handheld and touchscreen technology.In 2022 Andy produced Block 2 of Netflix and Left Bank's new teen show The F*ck It Bucket, created by Ripley Parker, starring Sophie Wilde and Steven Fry.Recent SUMS productions include: Sweet Sue - the directorial debut of Leo Leigh, which stars Maggie O'Neill and Harry Trevaldwyn. It was financed by BBC Film and is being sold by Hanway, out for release in 2023.Sweetheart which won two BIFA's from four nominations, the Audience Award at 2021's Glasgow Film Festival and was released in the UK by Peccadillo on 160 screens, their biggest ever UK release. Marley Morrison directs, Nell Barlow stars with Jo Hartley.Homebound which was directed by Sebastian Godwin, financed by BBC Film, BFI and Film London and sold to multiple territories by Blue Finch.Previous SUMS productions include: Lilting starring Ben Whishaw which opened Sundance 2014 (winning Best Cinematography) before being released in the UK by Artificial Eye and sold by Protagonist The Hungry, a co-production with Film London which sold to Amazon for Worldwide Digital and premiered at Toronto and London. Jet Trash, which stars Robert Sheehan and Sofia Boutella and premiered at Edinburgh before being released nationwide theatrically through VUE and on Amazon.Gully, which stars Kelvin Harrison Jr, Jacob Latimore, Charlie Plummer, Amber Heard, Terrence Howards and Jonathan Majors and is directed by Nabil Elderkin. GULLY premiered at Tribeca before being sold to Paramount. SUMS was one of the Brit 50: Production Companies on the Rise in 2019. and since founding SUMS Andy has been a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2015 and a Future Leader in 2018.
