As an Ambulance Care Assistant I work for the Patient Transfer Service with a dedicated team tasked with transporting patients to appointments; transferring patients from and to hospital to their homes or into the care services; ensuring renal patients are able to attend their regular dialysis appointments; transporting patients to specialist clinics throughout the country and generally assisting front line ambulance services with non-emergency transfers.

Team Leader of a small team of Investigators and Researchers attending live vehicle crash scenes in conjunction with Thames Valley Police and collecting data for the first phase of the Department for Transport RAIDS project. Phase 2 of the RAIDS project was awarded solely to TRL in April 2016 with the inclusion and addition of Hampshire Police. I have continued as the Team Leader for Phase 2.

An indentured apprentice with Clark Equipment, a heavy engineering company , the manufacturer of "Michigan" earth moving equipment. Attending college on a day release system I was offereed the opportunity to be sponsored by the company to complete my NHD in Mechanical Engineering in 1975.
