The position of a commercial underwriter is devoted to performing account management services for potential and current Member organizations. Responsibilities, as assigned, may include: meeting with accounts to review coverage, risk and exposure; underwriting property and liability policies; identifying and presenting recommendations to minimize loss exposure; facilitating underwriting discussions and reviews; processing client renewals; identifying contributions based on risk exposure; performing on-site visits to assigned accounts; creating and facilitating presentations; and, researching emerging exposures and programs related to coverage and risk analysis.
