Leads and manages a team of engineers in the planning and development of the preventative maintenance strategy for the Manchester Plant to ensure high levels of plant reliability and maintain equipment to meet strict legal requirements for people safety, quality and food safety.• Effective management and maintenance of the plant asset base to include submission of capital repair and replacement requests and business case• Ensures all maintenance activities are planned and developed in line with Global People Safety, Food Safety & Food Quality Standards• Is responsible for the effective day to day management and control of the annual equipment repairs budget• Develop the team of engineers to use industry standard best practice methods such as TPM and Lean methodologies whilst following the Company standards within KWS• Ensure effective communication and coordination between the maintenance planning and execution teams and all relevant stakeholders in the operations management and support functions of Health and Safety, Quality and Food Safety and Production Planning / Scheduling• Develop and Work to a defined aligned management process both within the function and cross functionally• Act as deputy to the Technical Reliability Manager as part of the Plant Senior Management team• Supports the Technical Reliability Manager with and carries out Industrial Relations Negotiations and Consultations with site union committees• Act as a point of escalation for major reliability issues on plant

RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead and manage a multi skilled Logistics team of 12 to ensure processes and packing lines are efficiently replenished with raw and packaging materials in line with plant KPIs• Full accountability for the coordination of goods receiving/dispatch activities in line with Kellogg Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards (sensitive ingredients, COA etc) using Kellogg systems (SAP & OPUS)• Manage all waste activities and on-site waste contractor services to budget• Manage the Plant’s FLT fleet contract, including all servicing, maintenance & safety initiatives• Manage the elements of the Plant cost centres relating to agency labour and contracted logistics services• Work with the Scheduling team to review Supplier performance and adherence to Kellogg requirements• Coordinate Quality & Finance audits, cleaning & maintenance of associated Operations areas (Silo Management) and supplier training

RESPONSIBILITIES• Ensure Safe efficient and reliable generation and uninterrupted supply of utilities (Power and Steam) to the Plant • Ensure a Safe and uninterrupted supply of towns mains Water to include Domestic Hot Water, and CIP water to the Plant.• Responsible for the Sites external and internal drainage systems.• Responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment plant and RO Plant ensuring that all commercial, legal and Regulatory conditions are met. This would include the management of policies and procedures and SOP’s for equipment. • Deputy to the Plants Electrical Authorized Person on HV systems in relation to switching, Isolation and testing in line with Legal, statuary and Kellogg requirements.• Responsible for the sites utilities budget (Power, Gas, Steam, Water and Waste Water)• Ensure Energy and utility contracts with the Plants third party supplier are effectively managed to meet strict budget control and ensure that all contractual obligations and Kellogg KPI’s are met. • Manage the £150K contract for the third party supplier of MRO Stores function to ensure there is S404 financial compliance and accounting of the £4Millon of inventory. Ensure the function operates effectively for the issuing and reorder and replenishment of spare parts and consumables required by the Plant.
