Manage regional cash and FX, liquidity, investment and financing for all subsidiaries in Asia.1. Ensure compliance with Global Credit Agreement covenants and reporting requirements.2. Provide finance controllers with guidance, mentoring and training on Treasury policies and systems.3. Work with BU to improve the working capital performance.4. Oversee banking activities.a. Monitor cash, debt and term bills balance reporting.b. Lead relationships with banks.c. Manage banking, borrowing and investment arrangements in compliance with Corporate Treasury policies and procedures.d. Optimize banking facilities.e. Lead efforts to ensure that leasing activity is in compliance with Corporate Treasury policy and proceduresf. Provide reporting of Treasury activity.g. Evaluate and implement cross-border and notional pooling.h. Work with Global Treasury for IC netting program.i. Ensure proper internal controls are in place to protect assets held in outside financial institutions.j. Ensure proper internal controls over the cash concentration and disbursements processes.5. Lead Risk Management to oversee foreign exchange activities.a. Lead foreign currency exposure reporting.b. Lead efforts to ensure compliance with FASB-133 derivatives accounting.c. Coordinate with Corporate Treasury and local controllers to develop and implement strategies to minimize foreign currency risk through internal and external hedging programs.6. Work with Tax team to ensure tax liabilities are minimized.7. Represent Treasury in efforts to structure present and future joint ventures to utilize dividends, loan repayments, and royalties, in the most tax effective manner and to enable the most efficient, and tax-effective “self-funding” of future investment opportunities and capital structure.8. Ensure investments in maximize return and minimize risk, also provides support for on-going M&A activity.9. Work closely with Global risk management team to arrange the insurance programs.
