I have recently started a new position at Lomas Distribution Limited as Bulk Tanker Driver, suppling powder products to the construction industry.I previously worked as a self employed driver, predominantly working for small / medium size transport companies. I have 30 plus years experience in the transport industry, including trunking, fridge, milk tanker, curtainsider, flat bed and potato bulker trailers. I am always open to new challenges within the industry.I previously worked in the parcel industry for FedEx UK, at our regional hub in Newcastle under Lyme. I've worked in transport for approximately 32years, starting as a multi drop driver in the food industry. I gained my c+e licence in 1991 and gained experience through agency work and general haulage before joining ANC Ltd, now FedEx UK Ltd as a trunk driver.During my 25+ years with ANC / FedEx i have gained approximately 15 years experience working in a supervisory role within a busy, fast changing transport operations department. I also hold a National transport manager CPC, and spent a brief period as an assistant day shift transport manager. I am a believer in good man management, which creates a positive working environment helping to build a strong and productive transport team.
