His experience spans building high-performing teams, expanding into international markets, and positioning companies as leaders in their respective fields.In 2003 Andy left the corporate world, embarking on the risky journey of entrepreneurship, and co-founded a new business to disrupt the global market research industry. Using intellectual capital to tackle problems for companies across a multitude of industries and countries, the company grew to become a market leader. With long-term contracts creating annuity revenues, the company was sought after and sold in 2007 to a FTSE 100 firm.In behind Andy's 20 plus years of a being a successful entrepreneur, he gained deep expertise in global management consultancy and general management in a Multinational corporate - where he took key learnings of 'what to do and what not to do' into the world of entrepreneurship.He previously worked in global management consultancy in London, Australia and New Zealand, leading a number of strategy projects for a variety of industries from retail, manufacturing and financial services to aerospace. He also worked in general management roles at a multinational heading up corporate strategic projects and then managed a specialized business unit where he was responsible for taking what was a large corporate cost centre and turned it into, profitable, commercial business.As a diagnosed dyslexic with ADHD and growing up with epilepsy, Andy also has a passion for designing and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies to help children with learning disabilities in New Zealand’s education system.
