This was achieved by targeting investment and resource allocation across countries and brands based on ROI, implementing continuous improvement programmes, applying innovation in key areas and enabling and motivating the team of GMs to manage their businesses effectively. Sales growth was also positively impacted by the integration of a business in key countries and local business development deals.

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director for Northern Europe, the role included full P&L ownership and accountability for running the UK&Ire business including setting and executing the strategy that would ensure the successful delivery of sales and profit targets over the short, medium and long term. During my tenure, the UK & Ire business grew significantly in terms of both net sales and operating profit. Net sales grew at a CAGR of 11% and operating profit at 12.7%.
