My current role at Trane UK involves taking a project from the sales team and setting it to work on site. This includes designing the job and producing all technical documentation, producing control panel enquiries and liaising with manufacturers to ensure there panel design meets the site requirements. Programming the control strategy for the site and producing all graphics for local displays and webservers. Once the site is fully commissioned it is my responsibility to carry out demonstrations to external verifiers and customers followed by end user training.Towards the end of 2013 I also took on the role of Field Controls Representative, this involves providing technical support for the UK and Ireland, producing training plans and carrying out training sessions for all controls related offerings.During my employment at Trane UK I have been involved in a number of large projects throughout the UK and Ireland and gained a vast amount of experience in the programming, pre-commissioning and commissioning of BMS systems.Working on these projects has given me experience in the following:- Programming, pre-commissioning and commissioning BMS systems including air handling units, fan coil units, boiler plants, chiller plants, natural ventilation.- Experience in chiller plant managers- Modification and re-designing of control panels- Creation of graphical front ends for end users in Tracer Summit, Tracer ES, Tracer WebOps, Tracer SC and Tracer UC600- Management and coordination of commissioning teams and electrical installers on site- Customer and end user training - Production of method statements and risk assessments- Production of Technical Documentation- WAN/(w)LAN/VPN- Implementation of secure internet based BACnet over IP communications.- Fault diagnostic on site and via remote connection.
