Andy Cusack has been asking, “What if?” professionally for 20 years. His experience has taken him from being an in-house graphic designer at Fortune 500 company, The Principal Financial Group, to being an art director at a vibrant advertising agency with The Integer Group — and ultimately to being creative director and co-owner of boutique marketing agency, On Pitch.During his free time, he has been active in the Des Moines music community. Cusack helped book the Des Moines Music Coalition’s 80/35 music festival from 2008 – 2019; he maintained a music blog and contributed a weekly column for Juice (The Des Moines Register); he launched and co-ran the We The Music podcast and blog from 2010 – 2012; and he planned, booked, promoted and managed the Shoot The Chutes music festival in 2013.Cusack fell in love with Des Moines while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Drake University in 2003, and he has since made it his permanent home.
