Customer Training Specialist
Current• Facilitating hands-on skill development lab experiences for surgeons, nurses, sales representatives, and other personnel in the use of medical devices and procedure application• Incorporating effective adult learning methodology in various media including animate and inanimate dry labs, demonstrations, and oral presentations• Supporting training initiatives nationwide and internationally ensuring effective learning of device and procedure application; initiatives include conventions, national and international trainings and courses in remote training centers, large and small surgeon participant courses, First Assist and daVinci Coordinator education courses, and device training for sales representatives• Partnering with associates in Marketing, Professional Education and Sales to plan, coordinate, and implement:o Simulation based training programs, Basic and Single Site surgeon trainings on Xi and Si systems, daVinci test drives and overviews, and dV Coordinator and First Assist Courses to drive business results• Preparing surgical stations for various types of procedure simulations to provide exceptional customer experiences with strategic alignment to business objectives• Creating numerous procedural documents and protocols associated with: Kind Heart Thoracic Model Program, New Xi Technology Tissue Demo, Career Advancement Model for Trainers, Bite Sized Video Instructional Video for OR Staff, da Vinci First Assist Course Protocol, and logistics planning for FA and dVCC• Preparing animate tissue for simulated surgical procedures
