A highly experienced community engagement / public liaison officer currently employed on a major civil engineering project in North-east Scotland. Part of a community liaison team engaging with over 250 landowners along with a variety of schools, groups and societies. The role includes working with the client, senior management, the construction team, sub-contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues affecting the public. The community liaison team has also engaged with almost 13,000 pupils through on-site visits and school presentations to promote the project and highlight the construction industry as a potential employer.My previous experience in environmental management and serving in the British Armed Forces has equipped me with the knowledge, skills and resilience to confidently deal with people from all backgrounds in different and often difficult situations.
