Started as a collections rep in the credit/collections dept. I was responsible for maintaining assigned accounts and keeping it current through direct communications with customers as well as making credit decisions with customer shipments.In 2003 i was promoted to Pricing analyst. I was responsible for freight bill corrections that customers were disputing. This required me to interpret complicated contract language and relay this info to both internal and external customersfrom 2005 to 2007 I was promoted to Account manager/Inside Sales. I was responsible for established customers who ship revenues of $2500 or less per month. I was also involved in cooperating with our field reps in establishing new customers as well as establishing new customers via phone contact and sales leads from our local customer centers.
