As director of Papaji's I am fully responsible for the running & future development of the company. I am the general manager of the bar on Whiteladies Road with the fantastic team that I have recruited & trained over the years. The aim of Papaji's bar, kitchen & teasmiths is to bring real, good quality, loose leaf teas to the people of Bristol as during my time in the hospitality industry I felt that the quality of teas served in cafés & restaurants was not of a high enough standard. We, as a nation, drink more tea than any other, but we also drink some of the lowest quality tea & I felt that it was time that this changed. I have always been passionate about bringing good quality cocktails to my customers & I wished to do the same with tea & to do this I have trained as a Tea Master. They also work so well together, so come to Papaji's to try our unique tea infused cocktails as well as our many classics & new award winning concoctions. Or come and try our Cocktail Making Sessions for team building events & personal events such as birthday parties & hen do's and make and taste your own.At Papaji's we offer an Events Management service that has designed & run many successful events including corporate & wedding days both on site and off site with full cocktail bars & catering, offering tasty buffets & canapés. We have fully organised many great wedding days as well has doing the cocktail bars at other events for many Production & Event Management Companies.We also offer a bar training & consultancy service, which has successfully helped new ventures set up many bars in the Bristol area. We have designed drinks lists with brand listing & trade support that are specifically clientèle targeted. We cover many areas including: service skills & equipment training, spirit production with category & brand tasting, history of cocktails & mixed drinks, classic cocktails & their history, up selling & general/profitable sales, contemporary mixed drinks, menu creation.
