Currently teaching Junior and Senior level classes to undergraduates in the College of Aviation. Instilling professionalism and pride into future pilots, as well as providing effective mentoring and advising to students as they prepare to enter the industry. The Aeronautical Science Department hosts the largest degree program for professional pilots in the world and is one of the largest departments on the Daytona Beach Campus that houses three undergraduate degrees focusing on professional aviation. At the Daytona Beach Campus, the B.S. in Aeronautical Science degree program blends flight training with academic study to provide a firm foundation in airlines, corporate and commercial aviation, or military aviation. In addition to a comprehensive academic and general education core, the curriculum includes FAA certification as a multi-engine, instrument-rated commercial pilot. Our fleet includes Diamond DA42s, Cessna 172s, Level 6 FTDs, and a Bombardier CRJ 200 Level D Simulator. Based on enrollments and fleet size, Embry-Riddle has the largest civilian flight training fleet in the United States. Key to our mission is providing effective mentoring and advising to our students as they prepare to enter the industry. The Aeronautical Science program is accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI).

Beyond Brave is a nonprofit created by my wife and I to provide financial assistance to USAF wounded warriors and their families while they recover from injuries and/or illness. During this incredibly difficult time, the warriors, along with their families, face inconceivable hardships. They confront physical injury, numerous surgeries, pain and/or crippling illnesses. They deal with emotional scars that plague them every moment of every day. On top of all this, their financial status is tenuous at best. Most of warriors are unable to work and often their spouse has to give up their job to take care of them...obviously compounding the financial and emotional stressors. Responsible to support the Director for the planning, coordination, and integration of all aspects of National Guard activities relating to Domestic Operations at the national level. Specifically, provides direct supervision of the National Guard Bureau’s Coordination Center, Counterdrug Program, current and future Domestic Operations planning, and Joint exercises and training, as well as the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Response Enterprise. Advises senior civilian and military leaders at the national and State level on matters related to Domestic Operations.
