About Andy Douce
I started the EcoSerenity Project (Barton) CIC in May 2020. From work in my professional career dealing with people in emotional distress caused by mental health issues, and following an attempt by a close family member to take their own life, I decided to create a space of serenity for those experiencing struggles with their mental health.I started development on a community farm concept. A place of green space for people to come along to , to experience animals such as chickens, pigs, goats, ducks, rabbit and reptiles. Also to experience and get hands on with horticulture/permaculture as an element of positive action in someone's day.The farm is operated as a Not-For-Profit Community Interest Company, so we are reliant of self fundraising.
