Support all Disney international regions (Asia, Europe/Middle East and Africa, and Latin America) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on business technology and finance decisions. Lead the system development life cycle (SDLC) process and governance model for the technology organization and projects ($50 million annual portfolio). Collaborate with technology operations leadership, budget owners, and development teams to create business cases, costs estimates, and project plans. Oversee three project managers and liaise with other project managers to ensure adherence to best practices and program management standards. Manage three major finance-related deliverables:Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Orchestrate and present the annual technology budget ($300 million) to the management team. Ensure validation of business cases and alignment of spending levels with objectives by working with technology budget owners. Represent technology in corporate finance meetings.Quarterly Forecast: Assess fiscal impact of daily technology spend/account for all costs and track to each budget owner’s AOP. Oversee analysis of cost trends’ impact on the forecasted spend.Five-Year Strategic Plan: Organize the annual strategic planning process with the WDI technology budget owners and WDI business development/finance teams. Align program communication strategy and implementation plans with the strategic direction in working with senior management.

Collaborated with and supported the business unit’s IT leadership focusing on WDI IT service offerings and current and future projects, business unit technical requirements, and the total cost of ownership. Worked with WDI IT technical teams (service delivery, common application services, and enterprise infrastructure services) to build three-year to five-year technical plans and create high-level strategies. Developed formal project authorization requests for project approvals. Managed teams, projects, and assets to ensure alignment with business strategies while holding costs within budget and forecasts.

Orchestrated development/rollout of the IT strategic and business plan. Supported senior IT leadership in aligning resources with the three-year capital expenditure plan. Managed activities/outputs of the IT PMO. Developed/oversaw the annual DCP IT operating and capital plans. Directed the DCP IT project portfolio and resource management plan (e.g., PAR preparation, executive communications, project status reporting, post-implementation reviews). Developed project management methodologies and standard tools. Liaised and built relationships with project administration groups. Established DCP IT’s financial reporting standards and controls.

Led a team of six managing daily finance operations, technology purchasing, asset management, and software administration. Improved budget controls and forecasting to attain division financial targets by developing a fiscal reporting tool/process for DCP. Facilitated strategic planning and forecasting for capital/operating expenses. Cut annual operating expenses 25% by standardizing technology procurement and asset management for DCP Burbank-based business units. Reduced annual operating expenses 10% with new financial policies/procedures and purchasing controls for the entire DCP IT group.
