I decided to pursue my passion to become a high school mathematics teacher. I have a Single Subject Mathematics Credential and I receive so much satisfaction by helping my students understand math concepts and how the content relates to real-world applications. This year I have the privilege of teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry to 10th-12th grade students. Led 100-person department scheduling and executing operations while deployed in the Western Pacific with Carrier Strike Group 3. Managed training program for 23 junior officers. Directed and trained 5-person team responsible for surface and sub-surface tactical picture.
