I also maintained subsection pages such as Z Magazine Online and parts of the online store.For Z Video Productions, I planned, shot, edited, and output to DVD more than a dozen recordings of political talks, interviews, and panel discussions. Speakers on videos that I worked on included Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Hugo Chavez, Arundhati Roy, and Dr. Cornell West.For the Z Media Institute (ZMI), an eight-day biennial media and politics school which attracted hundreds of students from around the world, I assisted Lydia Sargent in organizing the event, and taught courses in activist video production and media promotion.ZMI guest faculty and speakers included Noam Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Rainbow Coalition Presidential Candidate Ron Daniels, Green Party Vice Presidential Candidate Rosa Clemente, historian Manning Marable, radio show hosts David Barsamian and Sonali Kolhatkar, among others.I also served three years as Z's bookkeeper, creating budgets, preparing materials for IRS audits, and authoring successful grant proposals.
