Project Managing Sainsburys ‘New Business’ technical delivery (Wholesale and direct to Third Parties) in Agile and DEVOPS capabilities. Delivering the business development functionality comprising of 40 plus team members in multiple teams and supporting roles. I lead the delivery oversight and all the supplier and third-party coordination ensuring that new capabilities, partners and stores land successfully. Accountability for the budget spend of the project.

I was a Project Manager for four of TNT’s most high profile Common Systems back-office applications; Sales, Customer DataBase (CDB), Customer Front-Line (CSFL) and SalesForce integration. I was responsible for the CDB implementations of France, Italy, BeNeLux and Australia as well as the implementations of Common Sales for the major Business units of Italy, BenELux, Germany, Australia, France and the UK as well as 35 other countries.CDB and Common Sales are two of the larger common systems applications and I lead the review of the Business requirements and the functional design process as well as inter-team development and project management. The application utilises IBM Websphere for Portal, JAVA for the service layer and an Oracle back-end. The application is required to support 24/7/365 availability as well the Business need for multi-language, multi time-zone and multi currency.I am in regular contact with Business representatives, as well as the production support team and the various developments teams giving me the exposure to the full development life cycle and Business prioritisation. I also regularly attend Business workshops where options for Business requirements are discussed which also give me an insight into the future thinking of TNT’s Business direction. This recently led to a major project to split the customer data in Common Sales between domestic and international customers for France, Italy and GB within the Common Sales application.

My role was a Senior Developer and team leader with a wide range of experience and expertise covering Mainframe, Client Server and Intranet solutions developed in a variety of differing technologies and platforms.
