Shared Services Sa - Payroll Reform

Currently work as a Technical Analyst on the Payroll Reform Team for the South Australian Government, Department for Premier and Cabinet. The Payroll Reform project is a multimillion dollar, large scale complex project. The primary goal of the project is to migrate the South Australian Government’s main payroll systems, consisting of 27 different CHRIS5 payroll systems to two CHRIS21 payroll systems within Shared Services SA. This involves the consolidation and standardisation of databases, alignment of pay cycles, reduction of pay runs and standardisation of processesKey Responsibilities:• Large scale data extraction, analysis and reporting from CHRIS 5 and CHRIS 21 payroll systems• Develop and test the data transfer process and assist in the migration of data to the new CHRIS 21• Analyse and manipulate structured and unstructured payroll data for specific purposes.• Review data schemas within existing databases with the objective of identifying and documenting a standardised structure• Conduct in-depth analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to assist in the development of the CHRIS 21 database technical design• Reconcile data from multiple sources and address data integrity issues• Assist in the development of data migration tools and routines• Undertake comprehensive testing of the data migration process• Undertake the migration of data to the new CHRIS 21 environment.
