After a continuous 36 years undertaking various relationship, commercial and marketing roles in financial services, I am currently on a 12 month sabbatical. I plan family time, some travel (should Covid allow), volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.RMHC.org.uk), a charity close to the family and improving my golf!

Barclays global sponsorship remit – responsible for the commercial agenda of Barclays centrally managed sponsorships e.g. Premier League, ATP tennis and London Cycle Hire.- Commercial Director level relationships with sponsorship rights holders and linked partners, e.g. Premier League clubs.- Negotiate commercially viable partnerships both with external partners & Barclays businesses on an international scale e.g. Africa and USA. - Execute plans to achieve and exceed targets against deadlines, utilising effective planning and organisational skills – Multi-million pound return on investment (ROI)

International commercial activation of Premier League sponsorship rights to all Barclays businesses.- Utilise sponsorship rights, assets and relationships to deliver compelling propositions e.g. Premier League themed credit card proposition in 8 international countries- Management of partner relationships to ensure consistent achievement of mutual objectives.- Development of new relationships with key business partners in Barclays main international territories

Predominantly domestic commercial activation of Premier League rights to all Barclays businesses- Establishment and leverage of Commercial Director relationships with Premier League clubs.- Close working with Barclays businesses to set and deliver commercial targets.- Delivery of value adding partnerships including Manchester United international credit card programme (13 countries / c1.3m cards), and proposition for Barclays Wealth division with high net worth footballers

Led highly motivated team of client focused sales people- Team included Relationship Managers and sales driven New Business Managers- Top end clients included many of the UK High Street's most well known retailers and FTSE 100 companies.
