ABOUT ANDY: I’m a Chartered Engineer with a career spanning over 40 years in the construction sector with experience in residential, commercial and healthcare sectors. I was trained in the NHS in healthcare estate design, construction and operation; operated as a main board Director responsible for the design and development of numerous healthcare facilities including the new £550M Queen Elizabeth Hospital and more recently served as a non-executive Director overseeing their property portfolio as well as the turnaround and merger of two large NHS Foundation Trusts. My company designs and constructs places for people to live, currently focused on affordable homes in the social sector. I am actively involved in property development and also acquire land with a view to obtaining planning consent to build residential property in the greater West Midlands region.We are actively looking to acquire freehold land with planning or development potential. ACQUISITION STRATEGY: I work with a core team to identify suitable sites for development.PERSONAL STUFF: I’m a family man, a husband and father to four children, who challenge and inspire me on a daily basis.
