My job responsibilities include business development, government relations, public relations and legal research as well as general management experience and P&L responsibility for a team of energy and environmental legislative and regulatory experts.

For clients, I am responsible for leading Congressional and Executive Branch lobbying initiatives for national energy and environment campaigns. For the firm, I have overall P&L responsibility for the energy & environment business. I have led the development of the firm's strategy to create visibility, gain credibility, execute soundly and increase market.

In this role, I am able to provide additional professional services which enjoy the attorney-client privilege, such as handling congressional investigations.

In this position, I secured client when no previous relatioinship existed. I developed the strategy to overturn a critical Federal agency decision, allowing a client to pursue a new health care product offering worth tens of millions of dollars.

In this role, I prioritized critical and competing interests every day for a high profile Member of Congress: family, political, policy, media, staff, fundraising and management. I negotiated contracts, policy initiatives and roles for public officials. I also spoke before professional groups, moderated panels and directly supervised twenty staff.

In these roles, I served as top policy advisor for Congressman during times of crisis. I drafted cross-functional plans to produce synergy among legislative, grassrotts and press efforts. I also mediated staff conficts, mentored employees and decided recognition and disciplinary action.
