Responsible for the management of 35 employees including Co-ordinitors, Supervisors, Operatives, Drivers & Administrators to ensure the safe and efficient intake, storage and delivery of chilled, frozen and ambient food product to our customers. • Manage all operations within the warehouse, coldstore and transport departments • Ensure that receipt and storage of all goods are carried out in accordance with internal procedures and BRC global standards.• Ensure that all inbound goods are recorded accurately and are inputted onto the live system enabling these to be allocated to customers for pick and despatch. • Ensure all drivers are legal and compliant within RTD & WTD rules. • Manual route planning for deliveries, both planned and emergency unplanned to ensure transportation costs are kept to a minimum.• Carry out daily, weekly and quarterly stock takes and site audits. •Investigate any discrepancies with stock with the relevant teams. •Rectify any stock issues immediately to ensure accurate stock holding vs the live stock system & use root cause analysis to ensure this doesn't happen again. • Upto date contact with all departments to ensure any problems that may arise are dealt with in a timely manner.• Arranging delivery slots for inbound and outbound goods with the relevant suppliers & customers to ensure that both us and 3PL have quick turn arounds. • Speaking face to face with collection customers / service providers at site to ensure needs are met. • Supporting teams where necessary to help with any shortfalls in day to day duties. •Actively take responsibility for both internal and external BRC audits for the site. •Carry out disciplinarys for all stages upto and including dismissal. •Investigate and apply PIP's where necessary for individuals. •Recruitment where necessary for all departments.

Solely responsible for the management of 10 employees including supervisors and cold storage operatives to ensure the Meat, Pastry, Verstegan & Dairy storage, picks and loads are carried out efficiently and within and timely and safe manner.• Manage the chill department, frozen department and marshalling area including all operations that happen within these areas.• Ensure that all receipt and storage of cold store goods are carried out in accordance with BRC standards.• Ensure that all inbound goods are recorded accurately and inputted into the live system enabling these to be allocated to customers for pick and delivery.• Input all picks manually into the live system to generate despatch notes and invoices for customers on a daily basis.• Carry out daily, weekly and quarterly stock takes and investigate any discrepancies with the site sales team.•investigate and rectify any stock issues immediately to ensure accurate stock holding vs the live stock system. • Hourly contact with the Meat Sales Managers to ensure customer orders are picked correctly and any product returns are swiftly dealt with.• Arranging delivery slots for all inbound goods with the relevant suppliers for the cold store to ensure 3PL have a quick turnaround at site.• Speaking face to face with collection customers and exchanging money for ordered goods.• Supporting the Cold Storage Operatives with product, pick or storage queries and supporting with the inbound and pick where possible.•Actively take responsibility for both internal and external BRC audits for the coldstore.

-Manage, Lead, Motivate & Discipline up to 183 employees in the Distribution & Logistics departments including Team Leaders, Supervisors, Administrators, LGV C & C+E Drivers & Distribution Operatives. -Disciplinary – All stages up to and including dismissal within a unionised workforce. -Health & Safety Management – All aspects including non & lost time accidents, RIDDORS & personal accident claims. -Environmental Management – Responsible for maintaining IS014001 standard requirements. -Legal Compliance – Ensuring all LGV C & C+E Drivers are adhering to Legal rules and regulations including vehicle checks, RTD & WTD & temperature controls. -Budget Management for the whole site including wages, uniform, fuel, repairs and Sundry’s. -1-2-1 reviews & PDP’s – Conduct with Team Leaders / Supervisors. -Presenting KPI’s & Information – Responsible to present KPI’s and depot updates to the Site Manager, RGM’s & wider team.
