Provided technical assistance to internal staff of Charter Communications primarily for the Walker Call Center. In this role I was responsible for the desktop computer infrastructure, developing and maintaining various automated systems, automated reporting, the local SharePoint site, the local network, and some aspects of local servers, the phone system, outbound IVR, and HVAC within the Walker Call Center.Responsibilities include:• Identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.• Process improvement, a few examples include developing automated processes such as a service that automatically turned on and off all computers in the call center, automated reporting for use with identifying computer issues, automated employee location and login activity reporting, automated reporting for department metrics, and automating an outbound IVR process responsible for generating up to 40000 calls per day.• Deploying and configuring new computer hardware and upgrading existing hardware.• Inventory management, including asset tagging new hardware, asset disposing of old hardware, and maintaining an up to date hardware inventory.• Developing and maintaining SharePoint sites.• Ensuring all computers were current with the latest Windows security patches.• Training staff on the use of various technologies.• Assisting with employee on-boarding and off-boarding, such as creating building access security badges, and provisioning various user accounts.• Assisting facilities with various tasks, such as working with contractors on projects, constructing and destructing office cubes/desks, mounting miscellaneous hardware to walls and ceilings, and capturing professional quality photos during events using Photoshop for post processing.Languages utilized in this role included VB.NET, ASP.NET, AutoIt, Batch, KiXtart, T-SQL, WQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
