Andy is a native of Canute, OK. His experience has been as a Jr. High and High School Science teacher, Academic Coach and Grant Director. Andy moved to Kingfisher OK to become an Athletic Director/Assistant Principal and then became a Principal at Kingfisher Middle School. Andy's time at Kingfisher Middle School was a great learning experience. The faculty and staff worked together to improve Kingfisher Middle School to one of the best Middle Schools in Oklahoma. During this time Kingfisher built a new Middle School Building that won seven national awards for design. Andy was very fortunate to work with a such a fantastic staff.Andy left Kingfisher and moved to Mountain View-Gotebo to become their Superintendent/High School Principal. During Andy's time at MVG the Elementary received the Blue Ribbon School Designation through the hard work of Karen Mason Elementary Principal along with her tremendous faculty. The District worked extremely hard and became an A school in both Elementary and High School. During the time that Andy was at MVG the Board had to work through the loss of 1/4 of its budget due to a mistake at by the county assessor. During this time the school worked through these issues the students and teachers continued to work hard and became an Oklahoma Reward School. The District did recover the money a year later and has moved forward with a very solid financial standing. Andy moved to Prague OK in the summer of 2013. The District has fantastic group of teachers and students. There are many opportunities ahead for the Prague District.
