The treatment is a single low dose of doxorubicin iv, followed by low dose interleukin-2 ip given twice a day for 30 days. It true cured 40% of mice with breast cancer, established immune memory against the cancer, required CD8+ T cells and had a metabonomics factor in the blood that correlated and may predict which mice would be cured. This treatment also cured 80% of mice with lymphoma and a phase II clinical trail had been initiated, though was canceled due to personnel reasons. Two humans have been treated with this therapy. -
