Coordinated the merger of WynBanc Savings with First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas in February 1994. President and CEO of WynBanc Savings , FSB ($36 million in assets) from October 1900 to merger. Responsible for analyzing operations and implementing changes to return bank to profitable operations. Developed marketing strategies to increase loan production that increased loan servicing portfolio from $4 million to $9.5 million during three year period. Presided over mortgage loan committee for approval of all loans sold to FHLMC or other secondary market lenders. Instituted qualify control program for secondary market loans.

Previously, Asset Review Manager and Asset Review Officer for two large thrifts in Dallas, Texas. Organized Asset Review Department of a $1 billion Bluebonnet Savings, FSB. Bluebonnet was a successful Southwest Plan institution that had been infused with private capital and establish itself as a new leader in the area. Designed system and established new policies and procedures for review and analysis of all major areas of credit risk. Participated in management's selection and acquisition of assets held by the Resolution Trust Corporation.Also worked for Sunbelt Savings, FSB as part of infamous "Southwest Plan", which was developed to merge several failed institutions into a financially viable concern. Established guidelines for loan review process, allowances, and reporting of same to management and government agencies that oversaw operations. Selected as part of the team to review other asset portfolios for purchase and management control. Began financial services work with regulatory area of the Office of Thrift Supervision (f/k/a Regulatory Affairs Division, Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas) and quickly became respected by industry personnel and co-workers. Learned all facets of the industry. Specialized in asset review of large thrifts ($900 Million and up) in the Southwestern United States. Selected to teach a seminar to field staff on report procedures using personal computers. Co-authored an original handbook for use in the seminar. Used Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheets and models to analyze fiduciary operations and asset quality.
