I was engaged in the initial organization of the company and formation of the import Dept. and then mainly in charge of affairs related to goods import. 1.Daily communication with suppliers in Germany and receipt & interpretation work during their visits2.Translate materials on products, agreements, market reports, exhibitions3.Make T/T payments at bank, check out tariff and request payouts4.Maintain relationship with forwarders, coordinate pickup, space booking and delivery.5.Apply import license and prepare other approvals ahead of declaration to the customs6.Follow and supervise the clearance operations by forwarder to control costs and expenses and ensure safe and timely clearance7.Design, adjust and print product labels at request of authorities, make them attractive to the users8.Coordinate affairs of exhibition, receive representatives of supplier from abroad and summarize afterwards9.Provide Sales Division with promotion and publicity materials from supplier abroad 10.Report to top manager periodically11.
