As a member of the LandSouth's Leadership Team my everyday purpose is Organization Development. To help facilitate this I lead our Risk Management Practice, Business Development, Pre-Construction, Corporate Communications and Marketing efforts.

Based in Sunrise Florida, Team Focus Insurance Group (Team Focus) serves the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, most prominently through subsidiaries which include MacNeill Group (MGA, wholesale broker, and company/program management), Focus Technologies (core administration software solutions and BPO services) and Capacity Insurance Company (risk).

Full P&L Responsibility. Established executive and organizational team alignment around a specific business strategy to evolve from a single carrier partner relationship to multiple carrier partners, including an organizational name change and brand development to support transition. Created and maintained a high performance culture with an average tenure of 10 years and less than 7% turnover. Responsible for the sourcing, cultivating and developing of new carrier partner relationships for program administration and BPO business. Exceeded written premium and revenue targets while improving margins and growing net income.

Manage the relationship with our strategic partner Zurich North America. Responsible for the strategic direction and operation of an Agency Service Center, Customer Service Center, Billing Customer Service Center, In-house Retail Agency, and a Program Administrator for specific programs. Supporting Independent Agents and policyholders for over 1B in small commercial insurance. Responsibilities include staffing projections, budget projections, performance management, management development, human capital management and various strategic tasks associated with the growth of Zurich Insurance Services, Inc.

Manage the day-to-day operational activities of an Agency Service Center on behalf of Zurich North America Small Business. Manage the operational activities of several Specialty Lines of business on behalf of Zurich North America Specialty and Programs, including but not limited to: Environmental Contractors and Consultants, Select Professional Liability Programs and a Commercial Storage Tank Program. Responsibilities include staffing projections, budget projections, performance management, management development, human capital management and various strategic tasks associated with the growth of Zurich Insurance Services, Inc

Responsible for the direct management of 30+ employees in a multi-tasked call center environment completing inbound and outbound transactions, including but not limited to; basic eligibility, technology support, and underwriting for small commercial insurance. Responsible for achieving desired Service Levels through the utilization of available resources. Responsible for developing Team Leaders, Underwriters, and Service Representatives relative to business and personal goals.

Recruited, appointed and developed Independent Agents on behalf of Zurich North America Small Business. Developed territory marketing and premium plans with program specific growth goals. Utilized marketing plans to develop content and frequency of workshop/seminars in specific territories and develop a budget to support those activities. Facilitated 40 to 50 workshops a year designed to promote Zurich North America Small Business programs and products and create a sales and motivational environment for Independent Agents in attendance. Exceeded written premium goals, and appointment goals while working within budgetary constraints.

Acted as a Service Representative for the Builders Risk Plan, supporting Independent Agents by handling inbound and outbound transactions for course of construction insurance. Through training and development, was granted underwriting authority for residential and small commercial construction. Held a position as an Underwriting Assistant in the Buffalo Field Office of Zurich North America Small business. Responsible for a group of agents in New York handling small commercial submissions, quotes, renewals, sales calls, and specific underwriting to develop and grow the territory. Worked closely with Underwriter on risks that fell beyond authority.
