Responsibilities in my role includes the preparation and setup of new servers for installation and company migrations. Servers are mainly Windows SBS and enterprise server environments, these include file server and mail server migrations . I also do Break/fix work on faulty servers and workstation equipment. Daily duties also involve working through the in-house ticketing system and clearing assigned tickets. This includes communicating with the clients and third party support as needed. Other duties involve updating the in-house system that monitors all supported servers and workstations.

Setting up and deployment of new servers into businesses. This Included setting up the hardware in the workshop and then the migration of data on site, all done with minimal downtime for client. Was also responsible with setup and distribution of new network hardware and cabling if needed. Other responsibilities included front line support for many clients and managing of their site servers. This included checking backups and hardware proactively to ensure we are keeping the equipment up to speed , this in turn meant stopping any issues before they stopped business.

This included the manufacturing and supply of servers and workstations, Installation and configuration of Routers /Firewalls , and setting up remote access to companies requiring out of office services.Was also Also responsible for pc repairs and laptop repairs in the workshop.Server support for clients including mail servers
