Over the years I've written for many TV and marketing trade magazines - Broadcast, MIP Daily News, Lions Magazine, Location International, Worldscreen, Marketing, Sport Business, C21 Media (including DramaQuarterly), IBC 365, TBI, DTVE, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, The Knowledge. I copywrite annual reports/strategy document/sector reviews for companies in the rights management sector and have a few book length reports to my name (sports rights mainly). In recent years have been working on Dailies at a wider range of trade events including IFA and ITB in Berlin, Vinexpo in Bordeaux and Sportel in Monaco - as well as various Cannes-based events (MIP, MIPCOM, Cannes Lions). A growing dimension of my work is content marketing in sectors such as health. Also writing more these days about AI/innovation as applied to various sectors (auto, finance, airport, utilities etc). On various occasions I've had my arm-twisted into moderating conference panels and have also co-chaired the judging of The Hollis Sponsorship Awards for several years. With my wife, I have a small children's publishing firm Pink Chapel which currently has three preschool titles on its list. Sample of one novel is available on Kindle (title: The Mission by Dan Diego) and am currently working on a thriller set in 17th Century UK. I have also written numerous country reports on film and TV relating to Japan, China, France, Russia, Canada, Turkey, the Nordic Region, Mexico, Germany and more and contributed to several editions of BFC In Focus.
