As the final project of the User Experience Design Immersive at General Assembly, I was Project Manager of a team briefed to design a membership portal for the Engineers Without Borders website. Upon completion of the project, and the UX Immersive, I have continued to work with EWB to take the designs through further user testing and iterations. Blue Dog Glass provides products, services and short courses in the field of Kiln Formed Art Glass. Grounded in Fine Arts and manufacture, the company is the largest Australian importer of Bullseye materials used widely by both hobbyists and professional artists across Australia. Starting as a private contractor, my role expanded to a full-time position, second in charge to the business owner. Role encompasses the following:- Office management- Overseeing team of three- Studio Management of facility and infrastructure- Designing and implementing operations processes to streamline sales and information systems- Developing and teaching Short Course's- Tendering on and executing commission work- Front of house management including all areas of sales and daily operations including: sales, ordering, stock take- Responsible for the maintenance and coordination of all equipment and machinery on site

Established and ran my own contracting business catering to glass artists and professionals across Melbourne and Canberra. Facilitating the research, design and manufacture of glass products and art, public artworks, exhibition work as well as assisting with grant writing and funding applications, coordination of freight and shipping with international galleries. Initially working with Blue Dog Glass as a contractor, the role expanded from a contract role to a full time position including staff and sales management, office management and the maintenance of the business' machinery.Key achievements and Projects:- Recipient of $10,000 Australia Council Small Business Grant- Acquisition of artwork into the Latrobe Regional GalleryAssisted with the following public art pieces:- 'Victorian Timber Workers Memorial' Heyfield, Victoria.
