Sales Engineer
Working within a Sales Engineer role, I am responsible for responding to enquiries and generating sales leads primarily within the marine sector. Having been given the responsibility for the Norwegian territory, I was able to more than double the previous year's sales in this region in 2015. Another big part of my duties are to manage the company's marketing activities. Following the successful re-launch of the company website in 2013, I was asked by the parent group to carry out the same work for all businesses in the group. Planning and organising AMI's stand for the SMM 2014 exhibition in Hamburg was also one of the larger and enjoyable marketing challenges I was tasked with completing. Finally, designing and distribution of AMI's literature around the parent group is also a vital part of my responsibilities. Having no formal training in the technical realms of my work, I have very much pushed myself to learn and understand the complexities and engineering science behind heat exchange applications.

In parallel to this project, monthly marketing on behalf of CPMC's brand partners was also a vital undertaking.My work with the brand partners which included Thomas Cook, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, O2 and Audi saw me design and plan marketing campaigns for the various promotions that were run for CPMC's exclusive membership. This area of the job offered me priceless opportunities to liaise and work with the marketing departments of some of the UK, and the world's best known brands.
