I was initially involved in managing the User Acceptance Test process on a significant Programme, delivering a Salesforce solution in a series of Releases. My responsibilities included identifying appropriate UAT resources and providing them with the necessary support to prepare for and execute UAT testing. I was also responsible for stakeholder management during the UAT phases of the various Releases, including provision of daily status reports.Following the closure of the Programme, I continued to be responsible for UAT Management, during the transition of development to a Scrum based methodology. During this period, the FCA changed their supplier of Development and Testing resources, which added to the challenge. I was also given responsibility for evaluating and driving the adoption of Visual Studio Team Services to enable the Scrum Teams to work more efficiently.

I was responsible for scoping and preparing test planning documentation during the development phase of a mandatory project to deliver Payment Services Directive compliance.During the course of the test preparation and planning activity, I was seconded to a site power down project intended to safely power down the entire site with no business impact. This involved activity off site at an alternative location to provide business continuity. The project delivered successfully and I was involved in the live activity before retiring to my original project.

I have been leading a team comprised of UK based permanent staff augmented by offshore resource to deliver all aspects of software testing.The projects which I have been involved in range from small change of exiting functionality to large data migration projects (selective and full data extracts).Our core testing is mainframe based, but comprises graphic user interfaces, some website and standalone application testing.I am involved in all aspects of the testing lifecycle from requirements review (static testing), test planning, resource provision, environment specification, estimate provision, production of MI and interim reporting, end of test reports, test sign off and stakeholder management.
