After working in industry I changed my career direction. I retrained and worked for a local Authority Social Work Dept and was also fortunate enough to do some work in collaboration with the Scottish Governments Effective Interventions Unit.I decided to train as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist and have been fortunate enough to practice, teach and Supervise across the U.K. working as part of a Senior Management team at 2 Psychiatric Hospitals on my journey.On returning to Scotland after working with BABCP as an Accreditation Liaison Officer for 1 year I have focused my time on balancing work and family life. Between 2015 - 2023 I owned a large organisation that delivered training, psychotherapy, and counselling supervision. At the end of 2023 I sold the organisation, semi retired, and returned to being a sole trader.
