As the Director of Technology & Digital Innovation at the Michigan State University College of Nursing, I manage a team which researches, networks and collaborates with faculty, academic staff, university services and vendors to identify new, and support existing, educational technologies and support for on-site/off-site classrooms, conference rooms, office spaces, simulation spaces and online environments. We also provide professional development services for instructors within the classroom, simulation spaces and online environments. Overall, we strive to educate our customers on the most efficient methods for content delivery and best practices to support the Land Grant Mission of Michigan State University and the mission of the College of Nursing "To advance the health of individuals, communities and populations through inclusive and equitable nursing education, research, scholarship, and practice." My time is spent working closely with my colleagues to determine the best technology options and processes to suit their specific goals.
