From a great upbringing on a farm in the North East of Scotland and then graduating into the offshore oil & gas business, I spent the first part of my career working for three major international drilling contractors (Sedco/Sedco-Forex, Sonat and Dolphin) both offshore and in various project and management roles onshore. I then established Top Management, a project management consultancy in 1995 which then acquired Hampco in 1997. Starting as consulting engineers in 1988, Hampco now also specializes in design and supply of custom hardware and equipment solutions to any part of the world for a wide range of applications, primarily offshore.In 2013 we built a modern 48,000sf office and workshop facility in Katy, adjacent to Houston's Energy Corridor and established G-Tech Innovation Center - the first of its kind flexible coworking Industrial space. We offer space and support to a wide range of business from startup to mature companies looking for flexibility, convenience and cost-effectiveness. In 2019 we relocated to nearby Brookshire to an existing facility that we refurbished and are currently working on significant expansion in 2024 and future replication in other locations.
