I am an expereinced property investor and have been for many years. I am working on a number of projects mainly in the Bristol area and I am looking for private lenders. In my opinion the banks are not serving individuals nor society very well and have not been for some time now. There are two reasons they give for making finance almost impossible to get and if you can it is hideously expensive. One is my age, and I can't do much about that, but it does mean that I have a good few years of experience. The second is that they still do not like the property sector..In return for finance I am willing to offer a flexible deal and a generous return (currently 8%), and I think the general public deserves that rate of return more than the institutions.The market has changed in the last 20 years and now it it possible to buy and then sell a property for profit in 6\7 months after a full refurbishment. You may not be an active investor in property but may just be looking for a realsistic return on your funds.
