Audio is my first love! I enjoy product conception, R&D, design, marketing and sales, which is easy as I believe in my work!I have many years experience in product strategy, conception, and engineering design, and can consistently dial in that mystery ingredient - to create a great sounding result, one which ultimately brings satisfaction to the customer.My philosophy is to keep the circuitry simple and elegant, and design the components needed to get that to work - from raw materials if necessary. My design approach is holistic: I design products which fit into a system, the purpose of which is to bring musical joy to the listener.My patent US 7202645 demonstrates this minimalist elegance - do much, with little.Trusting my ears doesn't say I am not analytically minded when I need to be. I am no stranger to SPICE modelling, purely theoretical research, or bench work with with the APx555 we have here, and I am the grand-master of driving an oscilloscope - which comes from an apprenticeship served in the test instrumentation industry.My relationship with AN has borne fruit over the years; much of which is at the extreme end of the price range, such as the M10 and M10 Signature preamp, M9 preamp, Fifth Element D/A converter, or the Gaku-On series of power amps, plus the forthcoming Legend and ULTRA series of amplifiers. Also more sanely priced perennials such as the Oto SE, M2 preamp, and so on.
