MusicLinks is a registered charity - Voted Overall Winner for Culture and Creativity at the National Innovation in the Community Awards. Other Awards - Two National Green Awards - RFactor project working in 137 schools across The Lake District. Recruited as Development Officer by Westmorland Music Council in 2002, becoming Director in 2007. After forming MusicLinks our first major project was the Music Bus in 2002 - 2011. The bus toured festivals and other events presenting shows - from a huge variety of artists - delivering workshops to thousands of adults and kids. During this time we developed a range of other projects and resources working with Youth Music, Heritage Lottery, Arts Council England, National Park Authority, the Community Foundation, Foyle Foundation, PRSF, Hadfield Trust and the Freida Scott Trust. Recently the charity has adapted to support children with special needs and older people. We have developed a new Orchestra called Scribble to encourage young people of mixed abilities to work together using a variety of new media. In 2013 MusicLinks partnered with Kendal Calling Music Festival to devise the JamTent project which currently delivers workshops to clients across Cumbria, bringing hundreds of disadvantaged people to the festival each year to meet and perform with touring artists from around the world. In recent years I have been commissioned to compose for numerous projects including The Butterfly Suite for the opening of the Lake District Holocaust Centre performed by a cast of 124. I also continue to record and perform regularly.

Worked in Primary/Secondary schools and Community settings across London. Set up Simple Ways into Music community project for Camden and worked as Musical Director for the Dreamworks Charity in partnership with the London school of Fashion and RADA. Continued songwriting and gigging, numerous support tours/gigs with established artists.

Full-time - Music Tutor Training Course. Studied John Stevens Improvisation techniques and Community Project Development with placements in inner city Primary and Secondary Schools. Qualified as Music Specialist. Continued songwriting and gigging.

Helped finance Redhead Records after RCA. Launched the picnics. The picnics released two EP's and recorded one album called Periscopes. Playlisted on Radio 1 and 2. Tours and recordings well-received.

Signed as solo artist to RCA in the US. Received great support from the label.Worked with numerous producers and artists, performed and recorded new material leading to the album - Walk the Big Circle for RCA, in London and New York.
