Significantly this led to the creation of a new tool that would enable Scottish stores to understand their ranges,• By working with Express format Store Operations Manager for Scotland and North England and his Area Manager team I was able to understand where they were not getting information and ranges they needed, and where there were significant communication breakdowns between Stores and Head office. We also established an additional 16 merchandising groups where Scottish specific merchandising plans would be produced.
