As a Senior Consultant, I led many client-facing engagements related to various aspects of DevOps best practices. I was particularly active in implementing, deploying, configuring and promoting adoption of both Hashicorp Terraform(open-source, Cloud/HCP/Enterprise), and Hashicorp Vault(open source, HCP, and Enterprise). I am intimately familiar with Infrastructure as Code best practices and integrating it with security and gitops tooling. I have extensive AWS experience that I leveraged for multiple clients for implementations such as full scale production EKS deployments, EC2 and serverless architecture, complex multi-region, multi-account architectures and integrated VPCs with Palo Alto firewalls to enhance North/South and East/West traffic filtering. I have led engagements that were heavily focused on Gitlab or GitHub automations, from everything from building infrastructure to Docker images(including security vulnerability scanning with leading tools), and deploying secrets management systems and integrating them with third party services and applications. I have installed and configured Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, Lacework, and Aqua, deploying them to detect and remediate container vulnerabilities both before and after deployment. Bash scripting is close to my heart and I have employed some form of it on nearly every project. I certified as a Terraform professional during my time and Optiv, and helped Optiv gain the Infrastructure and Secrets management preffered partner certifications from Hashicorp.
