I have an exciting and great new role at Quintessential Design who are based in London, Hyderabad and Dallas.We have a unique and cutting edge technology for safety in all types of helmets from Cycling to Motorsport.The role involves lots of travelling to customers based around the globe and spending a lot of time in India working with the Design and Innovation teams to produce and improve our fantastic products.We have recently relocated day to day Operations to London where we will be located for the foreseeable future. No other company offers the technology we have developed making us the absolute Market leader in our field.

I was working with Jonathan Cole (Owner of Computer Warehouse). My duties are varied as we are a small company which is growing quickly. CycoticThis part of the company is our trade arm. We have several products that we distributed that include Strida folding bikes and the Abus Kranium Helmets that use new paper technology to replace the traditional foam based products. The design was developed by our own designer Ani Surabi. RetailVelorution is our Retail outlet based in Central London, we have also had a pop up concession in Selfridges for 6 months this year that was very successful as well as just starting an exciting new venture with John Lewis at their flagship Peter Jones store in Sloane Square this will also include having our products on the JL website. I am responsible for the hiring of staff, rota's and the day to day management of all retail activities, which include, product sourcing, stock taking, payment systems, Training both procedural and product.Trade Shows are a big part of the business and I am responsible for the organisation of all Trade Shows both domestic and International. All properties owned or leased by the company are managed by myself. I maintain all of these buildings utilising contractors and internal staff in the process. This also includes the refurbishment of new stores as they open.

Working with the Area Manager, I was responsible for a team of 6 Security Officers and a Controller, this involved day to day Man management, Training on all in house security procedures, Equipment usage, as well as First Aid, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, CSAS training, Rota's and daily duties roster. Daily reporting was also a key part of my responsibilities, including Shift Manager hand over reports, incident reports and general daily activity reporting.

Working with the UK Sales team on a 6 month contract, I was responsible for improving the overall performance of the team including both turnover and net profit figures as well as creating systems for lead generation and also aiding in recruitment of Sales support staff.Training Sales Reps individually by improving their selling techniques both on the phone and in personSales presentation trainingInvestigating CRM systems for future Sales Support staff to utiliseLead generation techniques for new Sales Support staff Chaperoning/Mentoring Sales reps on customer visits and meetings Training to improve localised marketing and best use of individual Sales reps annual marketing budgets Recruitment of 2 Sales support staff to aid the UK Sales Team in generating new business opportunities

I was the Operations Manager for a Bespoke Spectacles Manufacturer looking after all warehousing, trade shows, logistics and supply.We offered Ready to wear frames as well as a unique Bespoke service allowing our workshop to hand craft frames based on any individuals colour, shape and size requirements. TD Tom Davies Ltd sell into Boutique and small chains rather than the larger more mainstream stores that are commonplace on the High Street.

The role involved Managing the Warehouse and Service Departments in one of the UK's largest Apple Macintosh Resellers as well all Human Resources and Recruitment.I was previously the Sales Manager, which involved overssing all sales Departments within the company both Consumer, B2B, Education and Audio and Video Solutions.
