Having full responsibility on my shoulders to create accurate measurements for my designs to fit on 3D objects was tough, but honestly I never had to re-print something due to a mis-measurement. I was always very careful before printing something because it was a lot of money wasted.

First job I landed straight out of college, it was a good opportunity because I would have my own office, and oversized vinyl printer. I designed mostly real estate signage for companies like GVA Kidder Mathews, CBRE, etc. It was interesting to be able to design in such sizes as 20' long prints, having to maintain a printer, laminating the prints, and applying them to plywood.I got very proficient, and good at noticing colors, and how to mix cmyk properly to get the best out of a print. I also did some screen printing, and vinyl plotting.

Growing up in an Army family I always felt some pressure to become a soldier, once I hit 19 I decided I wanted to get out of the house and start some sort of path in life. I did my training in the winter of Oklahoma, never seen a place with so much grass and hills. Was stationed at Ft. Benning GA and got to experience the heat and insane horse flies. Met a lot of interesting individuals, but ultimately decided I wanted to pursue something else.
