I joined the Financial Services profession in 1988 after graduating in Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University. I have performed a number of roles throughout my career including Branch Management, Training and Competence coach responsible for the ongoing compliance of advice, and Senior Area Development Manager for the North of England for a major national IFA with responsibility for 50 IFAs. Whilst in these roles I have always maintained an advisory licence but my experience in compliance guarantees my clients receive the very best advice.I was appointed as a Director of AEON on 1st December 2008. My primary role is Business Development Manager but in addition continue to provide advice to clients.I specialises in post retirement planning, pension sharing on divorce and estate planning but also have excellent generalist knowledge of all areas of financial planning. I'm a Chartered Financial planner and my qualifications include the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice; Savings & Investments; Investment Planning; Taxation and Trusts; Pensions; Pensions Simplification; Long Term Care; Equity Release; Supervision and Sales Management as well as the Financial Planning Certificate.
