Ensuring superior quality and customer service is maintained at all times.Responsible for 3 senior engineers, 2 senior field support/principle support engineers and 30 service engineers.Securing and maintaining the development of income streams, equipment and contract sales for the department and the company within the southern regionsDealing with customer requests and technical issues in a timely manner, compiling detailed reports, recommending and implementing solutions, focused on customer care and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and meet individual customer requirements.Develop and monitor department goals and strategies.Ensuring the Field Service Quality Manual is adhered to at all times and correctly implemented.Meet with distributors, customers and attend exhibitions.Work closely together with Sales & Marketing, Production and Engineering departments on process and strategy improvements. Perform Annual Job Performance Reviews.Manage and develop training courses for both company personnel and 3rd parties such as the MOD, NHS and PCT's throughout the UKDevelop and initiate plans to grow the Service business.Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and ensuring training of employees; employee development, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance; motivating and rewarding employees and conducting disciplinary meetings where required.
