My job is to look for new ways we see our projects. With the use of 3d scanners, we are seeing how the concrete really looks. The bad, the good, and the awesome. I am responsible for going out to job sites and collect 3d data. We scan our projects before concrete is placed, right after our finishers are done with the slab, and when we think there might be a problem. After the scanning is complete, I will process the scans to themselves or to controls that are provided. From this point we now have a 3d as-built of our slab.With the drone technology ever changing, we are adopting the drones to do a wide range of work form marketing photos/videos, strategic planing for large pours and safety, and surveying. My job is to go out to our projects and fly the drone to capture in detail what is going on. We use DroneDeploy to fly the sites and build 3d models from our drone pictures. With the 3d model we are able to check to see if the dirt is ready for our crews to mobilize to the site or wait.
