Replenish stock components for the Rental Division of CleanAir

•Responsible for all Bids and Request for Quotes from internal department to external vendors.•Conduct pre-bid meeting with potential vendors needing information on a bid specification.•Responsible for correspondence with all open bids and RFP’s. •Responsible for compiling and organizing all documentation pertaining to bids and RFP’s.•Responsible for obtaining external quotes for items required by internal departments.•Responsible for tracking and obtaining current certificate of insurance for all external vendors.•Responsible for tracking contract termination dates and determine how to proceed when expired.

Purchasing Supervisor• Key responsibilities include; daily expediting of purchased components to meet customer demands on time, monitoring on-time delivery from vendors, establish new, and maintain current Vendor Managed Inventory. Negotiate pricing with current and new vendors, developing and monitoring the departmental standards, obtaining current quotes from vendors for pricing on new components, and responsible for the continuous development and training of direct reports. • Accomplishments include; developed a report with IT to increase visibility of purchased components status on all open jobs; developed program with IT for cycle quoting components to ensure that costs are accurate and current; spearheaded the development of new touch screen receiving program.Junior Buyer• Key responsibilities include; analyzing components and purchased material daily from a Material requirements planning (MRP/ERP) system-generated report; Expedited material delivery as needed to meet company commitments; Organized and maintained purchase order matrix • Projects assigned; Researched all components for conversions to RoHS compliance (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive); ownership of establishing a company standard format for RoHS identification.

Purchasing Coordinator• Key responsibilities include; purchased all components and steel for jobs from a Bill of Material or a print; priced all outsourcing work and monitored the progress to ensure on time delivery; coordinated all drawings and purchasing paper work with manufacturing and engineering personnel; supervised the Shipping and Receiving personnel.
